14.1 Common Issues

Script Won't Save

  • Check internet connection: Must be online to save
  • Check plan: Free plan cannot save scripts
  • Check permissions: Ensure you have edit access
  • Try manual save: Click "Save" button
  • Clear browser cache: May resolve temporary issues

Teleprompter Won't Load

  • Check script has content: Empty scripts cannot load
  • Check browser compatibility: Use modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
  • Disable browser extensions: Some extensions may interfere
  • Clear browser cache: May resolve loading issues

Can't Access Script

  • Check visibility: Script may be private or not shared with you
  • Check organization: Ensure you're in correct organization
  • Check permissions: You may only have view access
  • Contact script owner: Request access

Multi-Device Sync Issues

  • Check network: All devices must be online
  • Check session: Ensure all devices joined same session
  • Reconnect: Leave and rejoin session
  • Check operator: Only operator can control

14.2 Browser Compatibility

Supported Browsers:

  • Chrome/Edge (latest 2 versions)
  • Firefox (latest 2 versions)
  • Safari (latest 2 versions)

Not Supported:

  • Internet Explorer
  • Very old browser versions

Edge Cases:

  • Some features may work differently across browsers
  • Mobile browsers have limited features (use desktop for full features)

14.3 Performance Issues

Slow Loading

  • Check internet speed: Slow connection affects loading
  • Clear browser cache: May improve performance
  • Close other tabs: Frees browser resources
  • Check script size: Very large scripts may load slowly

Slow Editing

  • Check script size: Very large scripts (10,000+ words) may be slower
  • Close other applications: Frees system resources
  • Check browser performance: Use browser task manager to identify issues

14.4 Data Loss Prevention

Auto-Save

  • Scripts auto-save after 2-3 seconds of inactivity
  • "Saving..." indicator shows save status
  • "Saved" confirmation appears when complete

Manual Save

  • Click "Save" button for immediate save
  • Useful before closing browser or leaving page

Unsaved Changes Warning

  • If you try to leave with unsaved changes, a warning appears
  • Choose to save, discard, or cancel

Edge Cases:

  • If browser crashes, unsaved changes may be lost
  • Network issues during save may cause data loss
  • Always save important changes manually before leaving

14.5 Permission Issues

Cannot Create Script

  • Check plan: Free plan cannot create scripts
  • Check organization: Some organizations may restrict creation
  • Check role: Talent role cannot create scripts

Cannot Edit Script

  • Check permissions: You may only have view access
  • Check plan: Free plan cannot edit scripts
  • Check role: Talent role cannot edit scripts
  • Check offline mode: Free plan is read-only offline

Cannot Invite Members

  • Check plan: Must have Studio/Enterprise plan
  • Check role: Only Admin and Producer can invite
  • Check seats: May be at seat limit

14.6 Billing Issues

Payment Failed

  • Check payment method: Update in Stripe portal
  • Check email: You'll receive notifications
  • Grace period: You have time to update payment
  • Contact support: If issues persist

Subscription Not Updating

  • Wait a few minutes: Updates may take time
  • Refresh page: May show updated status
  • Check Stripe portal: Verify subscription status
  • Contact support: If still not working
