11.1 Account Settings

Profile Information

  1. Navigate to SettingsAccount
  2. View and edit:
    • Name
    • Email (cannot change, contact support)
  3. Save changes

Password Management

  1. Navigate to SettingsSecurity
  2. Change password:
    • Enter current password
    • Enter new password
    • Confirm new password
    • Save
  3. Remove password (if you want magic link only):
    • Enter current password
    • Confirm removal

Edge Cases:

  • Password changes require current password
  • If you forget current password, use password reset flow
  • Removing password means you can only sign in via magic link or OAuth
  • Setting (or changing) a password does not create a new organization/workspace. If you see an unexpected extra org in the org switcher, refresh the page or sign out/in.

11.2 Language Settings

  1. Navigate to Settings
  2. Find Language selector
  3. Choose:
    • English
    • Spanish (Español)
    • French (Français)
  4. App language changes immediately

Edge Cases:

  • Language preference is saved per account
  • Some content may not be translated (falls back to English)
  • Language affects UI, emails, and error messages

11.3 Teleprompter Settings

Default Settings

  1. Navigate to SettingsTeleprompter
  2. Set default:
    • Font size
    • Line height
    • Theme
    • Speed
    • Other preferences
  3. Settings apply to new teleprompter sessions

Edge Cases:

  • Default settings don't override session-specific settings
  • Settings are per-user, not per-organization

11.4 Appearance Settings

Access appearance settings at SettingsAppearance.

Theme

  1. Choose between Light mode and Dark mode
  2. Theme preference is saved per account and syncs across devices

Recent Scripts to Show

  1. Choose how many recently accessed scripts to display in the "Recent" filter
  2. Options: 5, 10 (default), 15, or 20 scripts
  3. This controls the maximum number shown in the Recent section of the sidebar and scripts list
  4. The system tracks up to 20 recent scripts internally; this setting controls how many are displayed

How Recent Scripts Work:

  • Scripts are added to your Recent list when you open them (not when they're modified)
  • If a teammate edits a shared script, it won't appear in your Recent list unless you open it
  • Your Recent list is personal and syncs across devices
  • Opening a script you've accessed before moves it to the top of your Recent list

  1. Navigate to SettingsNotifications
  2. Configure:
    • Email notifications
    • In-app notifications
    • Notification preferences

Edge Cases:

  • Some notifications cannot be disabled (security-related)
  • Email notifications require valid email address
