Prepare and edit teleprompter scripts offline
Prepare important scripts before leaving a reliable connection. A script must be saved on the current device before you can open it without internet. Editing availability depends on your plan.

Changes made without internet are kept safely on this device and saved online when you reconnect.
When your current access includes Speaker Profiles, a previously cached profile can be selected and applied from the teleprompter while offline. Reconnect before creating, renaming, deleting, resetting, or saving profile changes.
Prepare Scripts Before Going Offline
If a script has not been opened or prepared while you were online, it appears dimmed and non-clickable when you go offline. A Wi-Fi Off icon explains that you need to open it online first.
To prepare a script before going offline:
- Open it while connected, which saves a copy on this device, or
- Click the Save for offline use cloud icon next to the script while online.
How Offline Copies Work
EasyPrompter keeps every script title in the current workspace catalog available for offline browsing and search. Full script bodies are cached separately, up to 100 per device. Scripts and collections you open are saved automatically, and EasyPrompter also prepares Recent Scripts, Collections, and your configured number of favorites in the background.
Choose 0, 5, 10, 20, or 50 favorites under Settings → Preferences → Offline Storage. A title can appear in the offline catalog even when its full body has not been saved, so prepare critical scripts before disconnecting.
Offline copies stay in the browser and remain separate for each personal or team workspace.
Use the Grace Period
Paid plans get 30 days of continuous offline access. A countdown shows as you approach the limit. After it expires, you'll need to reconnect to continue. The grace period resets each time you go online.
Sync Changes After Reconnecting
Offline edits save automatically when you are back online. If someone also changed the same script while you were away, EasyPrompter asks whether to keep Your Copy on This Device or the Latest Online Copy.
Manage Offline Storage
Go to Settings → Preferences → Offline Storage to see how much device storage EasyPrompter uses and when changes were last saved online. Clearing offline storage does not delete your online scripts. You will need internet to open them again.
