Control EasyPrompter with keyboard shortcuts

EasyPrompter's customizable mappings can also work with many pedals, clickers, and controllers that send keyboard input.

Quick Search

  • Cmd/Ctrl + K: Open Quick Search and find any script or collection

Script Selection

  • Cmd/Ctrl + A: Select every script in the current filtered view (in selection mode)
  • Shift + Click: Select a range of scripts
  • Escape: Exit selection mode

Teleprompter

Assign keys or pedal buttons by action, then tune speed increments and wheel behavior in the same dialog

All teleprompter shortcuts are customizable. Click Controls in the top-right toolbar, then open Shortcuts & Hotkeys → Edit Mappings.

  • Space: Play / Pause

  • / : Speed up / down (by the configured Speed Increment)
  • ] / [: Next / Previous marker
  • M: Open Jump to Marker list (type a marker number to jump directly)
  • Escape: Reset to top
  • F: Toggle fullscreen
  • B: Toggle blackout (Operate Mode only)
  • Mouse wheel: Choose Scroll (move the script directly), Speed (adjust lines per minute), or Shuttle (scan quickly backward or forward)

Lines per minute (LPM) describes the scrolling speed. In Controller Mapping, choose ±1, ±3, or ±6 LPM to control how much each arrow-key tap or wheel movement changes the speed. The default is ±1.
